How To Read A Supplement Label
Most supplement labels look similar at a glance, but a few specific details separate a transparent formula from a vague one.
Using ProstaIron's own label as a working example, here is what we checked, and what you should check too.
Check 1: is there a Supplement Facts panel at all?
This is the single most important check. ProstaIron's front-facing label we reviewed does not include one — it's the first thing that stood out to us.
Check 2: are individual ingredients named?
Beyond a Supplement Facts panel, some brands at least name ingredients in body copy or usage graphics. We did not find this for ProstaIron either — the usage infographic discusses timing and hydration, not compounds.
Check 3: are doses disclosed?
Even when ingredients are named, amounts matter. This check is moot here since no ingredients were named to begin with.
Check 4: does the guarantee check out?
Look for the specific day count and whether it's money-back or store-credit only. ProstaIron's stated 60-day money-back guarantee passes this check.
